Les Fleurs

I've been working on a couple of journal pages for my dear friend MaryAnn. Here is one of them.

I love the colour combination of the lime yellowy green and the pinks and reds. I don't know if there is more vibrancy than such a combination!

Here is a close-up of some of the penwork detail. This was probably the funnest part of building this piece.

Materials used:
- watercolour paints
- magazine cutouts
- acrylic paint (for the flower)
- white Sakura gel pen
- Papermate Liquid Flair - black
- Ink and various caps to create the circles

Now THAT is mixed media!
