Mixed Media Giveaway - TWO Prizes to be Won!

Isn't it about time for a giveaway?

Here it is lovelies - the first ever Musings On Realities Mixed Media Giveaway.

The prizes:

The Grand Prize - Mixed Media - includes:
- a postcard-sized book of Acquarello 140 lb. watercolour paper
- a bottle of Adriondack spray ink in Espresso
- a silver doily to use as a stencil
- a rubber stamp in a "crest" sort of image

Runner Up - Paper Love - includes:
- eight pages of somerset studio and other assorted special addition paper in 8.5" x 11" size
- a full sheet of word and plaque stickers

    I love washi tape and torn magazine pictures! It makes a great frame and/or caption area.

    paper, paint and fabric are a fave of mine. As is driftwood and paint. Sea washed glass and paper. Any combination really. Fingers crossed.xx

    My fave mixed media supplies are various tissues, especially those with text. Unique fibers, including threads, yarns and ribbons. Interesting scraps of paper, especially metallic. I also like glitter, especially super fine for a touch of shimmer, not tons of it -less is more in most cases.

    Hi Shannon,
    My favorite mixed media combination is a wonderful collaboration of, drawing, paints, chalks, markers, texture mediums, glitter (always), fibers and ribbons, bleeding tissue paper, mod podge, cutouts from magazines and clear resin. Thank you so much for hosting such a fun contest! :)

    I "liked" your excerpt on FB about this give-away. I like paper too much. My favourite technique is probably gluing on paper. I just like collaging all those cool papers down on other papers. I think I need to get out more!!!

    My favorite mixed media combination is #140 water color paper, with water colors, acrylics, and my next adventure will be exploring more texture in my mixed media. I do so love texture, so do my fingers. hee hee.

    I just started reading this blog a couple of weeks ago and I have been impressed with the content. I also noted you are a cat lover--me too. That keeps the creative juices flowing, I think.

    When I was going through my art blogs I found yours at the bottom and opened it up! Wow! A giveaway! I love to use collage elements which can include some type of bling, be it German borders or some kind of rhinestone item. Seems to give the collage just the right kind of POP!
