WIWO Wednesday - It's What I'm Working On

Last Friday I showed you some designs and a video from one of my artist idols, Teesha Moore.

What I DIDN'T tell you is that I've been watching her videos (which are pretty much the same as free online courses) and following her steps to create my own beautifully bizarre images.

I've enjoyed exploring Teesha's style of art so much that I decided to make a 16-page book inspired by one of her videos and create every page in this style. It's only about half finished so far, but I wanted to give you a look at what I've been working on.

Today, tomorrow and Friday I will be showing the pages that are "done."

I'm SO SO SO in love with these works! I really hope that you like them too and that they inspire you to watch Teesha's videos and create your own pieces of art.

This quote from Eleanor Roosevelt is one that I think of often. Isn't it inspiring?
Materials: acrylic paint background, chalk pastels, ink markers, paint markers, magazine collage.

  1. Hi Shannon----LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this page!!!!! That's one of my favorite quotes, too! Can't wait to see the rest of your pages. I, too, was inspired by Teesha's videos and want to do the 16 page book----you're an inspiration---thank you!
